Any Festool folks come up with a  Tapering Jig? Is there safe and accurate way to just do it using the track saw?
I'm looking to do double taper legs for a table.

Any ideas are apeciated

The Microjig Microbial tapering jig is great; very accurate and flexible. However, it's a little pricey at $130 and, if you're only going to use it once I'd consider trying to make a tapering jig. I've seen plans online from the various woodworking magazines and I'm sure there are videos out there with other ideas. If you plan to repetitively use it then the Microjig gives you a lot of capability, adjustability, and allows you to duplicate the same angle at a later time if you need to remake a part or are making a second version of the same project. I love it. However, it is made for use on a table saw. Don't know if it would work with a track saw.
