TCL 3 Charger stopped working

I bought a TCL 3 Charger about a year ago to go with the DWC18 basic kit I purchased at the same time.  I had two free batteries from a prior JLC Festool Connect.  The batteries last a long time in the DWC so they have not seen a ton of charges.  I was using the BPC18 along with the KAL II light today and for some reason the charger will no longer light up for any reason.

Any Ideas?  Is it the batteries? Bad charger? or something else? I'm tempted to run one of the batteries down and then try and charge it to see if the light just is broken? 

Do the airstream chargers work with the older batteries?  I just ordered a DWC 18 reconditioned kit last week, not that I need another drill but  figured for $278 I could use the extra batteries and charger and for another $100 get a drill and systainer.  Now I just hope it gets here quickly so I don't have to buy another charger.

I was using the BPC18 along with the KAL II light today and for some reason the charger will no longer light up for any reason.

The LED on the charger should be lit constant yellow when it's connected to power but no battery attached, in case it dosn't (which I take from the underlined part) it's time for it to make a trip through festool service. The TCL3 should be covered by the 3 year service-all-included (at least it is in germany).

I’ll follow up with them. I just bought a airstream charger till I get this worked out. The thing is HUGE. Never going to fit in any of my cases.
