Ten years on the FOG

On this day ten years ago I joined this forum. It was also around that time I bought my first Festool, a TS55. Since then I've gone on to buy a few more Festools.

This forum has had its ups and downs but has always been a great place to get info and to share info on not only Festool but lots of other stuff.

A big thanks to all the mods for looking after this place and here's to the next 10 years, cheers.

The FOG as it currently exists began in Jan 2007. However, it existed previously as a "Yahoo Group" which was a forum of sorts on Yahoo.com. That began as early as 2005, but I don't know the exact time frame. Maybe someone else remembers or knows.

The first day live in this format for the FOG was January 22, 2007.

I suspect that there will be many anniversaries this year!  My ten year is about a month away.

Yeah my finger is still numb even though the hospital told me back then the feeling would come back around 2 years after the operation. At least I've got some strength back in my left hand now that's the main thing.

I'm Jan 24 '07.  I sort of remember there was some sort of change in the group and we created new accounts on what is now FOG, but I really don't remember the details.  Jeez, I have trouble remembering yesterday.  8)

It should be assumed that the number of systainers is proportional to post count, right?  Or years on the FOG?  Or both?  [blink]
