Had a great time with Brian and 4 Festoolians at the Indy Cabinet class. The hospitality was warm, food plenteous, training superb with "what do you want to see/do next" a very helpful regular part of it, and for me it was a great chance to see all the Festools I do not YET own. Thanks to all at Festool who made it such a helpful experience. If you can, don't miss this opportunity when it comes up.

It is a great class.  However, seeing all those tools you do not YET own is dangerous.  I now own (and love) several tools that I didn't know that I needed.

Sorry, Brice but I didn't take any. I brought my camera but was too busy laughing at/with Brian to get it done. The WALL OF FESTOOLS tho is amazing...

did brian show you the pictures of his new kitchen that is finally finished from all the past cabinet classes that you guys have been building for him?

yep it is a good class.

I fully concur with Ron that this was a great class.  And thanks to Ron for being such a great class partner.  I learned a tremendous amount, and was finally able to grasp a couple of concepts that had not sufficiently sunk in previously.  Thanks to Sedge for being such a great instructor and making the class so much fun and so positive.  And like Ron and Davee, I have expanded the list of goodies that need to appear under the Christmas tree.  I hear a router calling my name...

[big grin]

You guys are scaring me. Im going to the cab class at LV in Dec….

just before xmas

But honny I thought you wanted a router for xmas ad little johnny said he just loves his domino

Kreg - lol, no but Brian did tell us some great Kreg stories and he does a pretty mean imitation!

Ditto on the Thanks  I also attended that Cabinets class.  I learned so much and not just about cabinets but all the little tips that make using the Festool products much more effective. I have used the parallel guides and the LR32 system before but the tips on adjusting and calibrating made all the difference. Needles to say I went straight to the basement made the tweaks to mine as soon as I got home

This was my third class at Lebanon perviously did the Doors and Draws class and also the advanced Router class.  Of course there is a down side to being exposed to all that green stuff for two days. I previously thought the WorkCenter was not for me  but after two days I really appreciated being more organized and able to have everything on hand. Needless to say  I ordered one from Uncle Bob as soon as I got home. I've also been daydreaming about that MFK 700 man that thing is so nice to trim edge banding with. I also discovered I need two MFT's !!!!! Is there no end to this!!!!

Brian was his usual self He's a great teacher it takes a lot to keep the attention of adults for two days (especially when they think they already know everything) he's really passionate about Festool as are all the other employees it's not hard to see why they are so successful.

I would love to see Festool offer a class just on the Domino

Terry

Yeah, I just ordered the RAS from Bob M after seeing how easily it did scribing. I have several big cabinet jobs coming up and am looking forward to using it. Thanks, Brian, for being such a good salesman, I mean, trainer.
