Perhaps I get a little sappy at the holidays but perhaps it is my remembrances of getting my Ts-55 (my first Festool) for Christmas ten years ago and then thinking about not having an info about it until I discovered this forum.  And then there was you to help out.

    I would like to echo what Peter said.  Without all the "sappiness"  [big grin]

    I too found FOG because I was looking for info on the ATF55. Was it really worth buying and did it really work, etc. I was directed here by an original FOG member when I was asking questions about Festool on the Wood Magazine forum.  Due to the informative help from the members I made the purchase and have never looked back.

    Festool Owners Group is the place for information on Festool products.

Yes thanks all past and present contributors to this site on not only Festool use, but other tools and techniques. It has saved me time and made me a better cabinetmaker.
I have not only learned a lot from a the contributors here but I have met some great folks both in person and virtually.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas and a great new year!

This has been "the place to go" for me for many moons. I have met many friend, both in person and, as Tim Raleigh put it, "In virtaully."  This group has been my education in woodwork. Right after I brought home  my first ATF 55, I found Bob Marino who not only was very informative about several other toys, he directed me to this group. I have never yet had the good fortune to have me Bob in person, but there are others who I have met personally and enjoyed at various functions.  All have been an inspiration.

And some have even laughed at some of my stories even tho wandering a little off topic.  That has to be a big plus ... er ... ah ... You were laughing with me I hope  :

Have a great Chrismas and I hope you all are prosperous enough to keep on bringing home the green and blue in the gray boxes.

Have ever been on and enjoyed. Due to some unexpected events I have not been on the site much but as things resolve I am looking forward
