Brice, today, based on your advice, I went to Home Depot and bought the Rigid 1-7/8" x 7ft universal vac hose / extension kit for $17.99.  It is the perfect fit between my ct-22 and kapex - and makes quite an improvement in dust collection.  You, and many others for that matter, are always here to offer suggestions and help.  I for one appreciate it.  8) 8)

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but it reminded me - Thanks Brice!  I can't begin to tell you how many of your posts found their way into my workshop.  Never would have bought the MFS without your great tutorials.  And many other posts have helped me along.  Hope Festool appreciates how many sales they get from your work!
