Gents, this is the first place I'm announcing the relaunch of toolnut.com.  BIG plans on the horizon.  This is just the beginning.

Would love all the constructive criticism you can throw at me and the boys.  I promise, you won't hurt our feelings.  The site IS in it's infant stages and was released with absolutely nothing other than a template, so bare with me as we develop and add content.

Sweet!  I'm lovin the mobile edition!!!

Thanks B3 / Double B - The mobile software is pretty sweet.  We're using Volusion as the back end.  www.festoolproducts.com mobile is sweet too.  They made it really simple.

I don't know, the first thing that popped up was a Bosch...  ;D

Seriously!  I made an ENTIRE site dedicated to Festool and nothing else months before I even began toolnut.com and you're unhappy that a Bosch showed up first!?!!??
;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Sean, both the mobile and std site looks good. On the mobile site I do see that some of the images come in too small for an iPad worked well for a phone.

Sean   I am  using  IE 9 and I find a large space that I need to page down on before I see the whole site. Might be an Internet Explorer thing but thought you should know

Just curious, how are you generating the site?

Are you serving up static HTML pages or are you generating them with an app server and using a content management system?

I recommend lowering your Festool prices by 25%.  That would really make your site pop.

HTH.

Could call it your "going out of business sale"...  ::)

Sean,

I'll be glad to "bear" with you, but I won't take my clothes off ("bare" with me) for you.

Chuckle.

Listen, I'm sitting here with David and discussing the finer points of English grammar.  We're not convinced you're correct (syntax or usage).  Please provide backup documentation and sources.  ;D

Sal, I've noticed this.  The site is optimized for chrome and FF 4 right now.

The latter - why do you ask?

I'll have to side with Ron on this one, although my initial thought was he was wrong.  Bare vs Bear

Professional curiosity!

it's a javascript error causing this on ie. You can see the details of it if you double click the error message on the bottom left corner of the browser. Looks great in Firefox tho  [big grin]. I am glad you put the shop by menu in. A few times I was at the site and couldn't figure out how to find anything.

One thing tho about the revolving add section at the top. It would be nice if we could pause it, or have a way to get back to one of the ads after it has passed by without having to wait through the entire process. Just a pet peeve of mine, hehe.

Definitely going to consider a new banner - I think the developer chose this one because it's lightweight, but it may just have been because it was simplest, least expensive or all of the above ;)
