The refurb sale

I have only ever boughten new tools via beaver tools.  But when I seen the sale, I just couldn't help myself.  My first round of ordering went to sanders.  I ordered 2 - RO 125s, 2 DS 400s, 2 - es125s, and also a 6" random orbital.  I should receive them tomorrow, does anyone have any experience with getting sanders through this program. I got all 20% off tools. I guess it's a crap shoot, but what shouldi expect tmrw when I recieve them.    Also, if everything seems good, I plan on ordering a track saw, and a planer.  Does anyone know how long the sale is for.  Thanks.  Sam

20% off means that the tool was lightly used and may have cosmetic blemishes. The tools are guaranteed to be complete and in like new working order.

We have not made an announcement regarding the length of the recondition tool sale, however the last one lasted a month. We just passed a month this time around.

It is great that were able to take advantage of the recon sale.  There are a couple threads that talk quite a bit about peoples experiences with condition, in general very positive reports.

Sam I bought three sanders when the did the first recon sale two years ago. All I can say is you will not be disappointed in the condition of the tools.

To add what others have said, Festool is very conservative and customer oriented.  They aim to over perform on everything, whether it be the published specs of their tools, their customer service, and also the condition of their recon tools.  All these areas are subjective, but I will be shocked if you are not satisfied beyond what you expected.

All of the things I ordered were 20% and if it wasn't for a little bit of dust on them you would think they were brand new.
