Well I took the plunge and went out and bought the RO 90, Well it turns out it is better than I expected in operation and handling.
I have a RO 125 and at first  I was surprised in the learning curve I had when it came to using it and prevented  the skip and bounce around while using it.

Well with the 90 either I had learned from the 125 or the smaller size prevented any of this right from the start.

I have found it can be a great aggressive sander in the rotex mode if need be as well as a finish sander in the eccentric mode with no real visible rotary sander marks left behind.

For a sander I wasn't going to buy mainly because I was going to stay in the 5' world with both my RO and ETS 125's I am glad I did go for it.
I have already set it as the sander to carry to most on-site work and will be using it alot in the future.

This is was meant to be my damn this is a good sander report,  [thumbs up] [thumbs up]
and maybe just my  [2cents]

Ha ha, well, was a damn good report :)  I usually put tools away when I'm done for the foreseeable future (for me, 2 minutes), but usually leave the RO-90 out as I find I love it for touch ups besides normal sanding tasks.

A good bud of mine who was a carp for over years came by to visit me yesterday and play with some of the festools I bought and showed him why I paid what i paid for those tools.

I broke out the RO90 and He agreed with me.
Its a damn fine sander

I had to refinish some Boos hard maple countertops between tenants on Sunday, the new tenant arriving in the afternoon to take over the apt.

2 sheets of Granat 100 and 2 sheets of Granat 120, one each for the Rotex 150 and the delta pad on the Rotex 90. I was oiling in a few minutes after removing 2 years worth of what appeared to be coffee, various crud, and something that looked like popsicle. The popsicle stuff was the hardest to get out. It soaked in pretty deep and glowed this unnatural red that almost looked radioactive.

The bottle of oil that I left and that was supposed to be used regularly (by agreement) was under the sink still full.

The RO 90 did a great job of cutting through the crud in the corners quickly and accurately. I would have used the Deltex but the new kid got the call and knocked it out of the park.
