This sums up my reaction when I can't find a tool on the jobsite!

Jon,
Best laugh I've had in years!
He's so mad that he doesn't realize someone also took his toupee!

Yeah man!  I was laughing like an idiot on the jobsite while I was watching this with my headphones on.

Can someone say "Anger management?" Gees - and all over a can of soup?

I'd hate to be around him if he lost his wallet!!

Imagine his reaction if you took away something he really wants.  Anybody else think of Seinfeld?  No soup for you!

It was funny, but it got a bit weird watching it.
Can't say I haven't had days where I felt like he did though.
Having a half Irish father, I can't help but think of Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) in Martin Scorsese’s film The Departed when he says.“What Freud said about the Irish is: We’re the only people who are impervious to psychoanalysis,”

He had to be off his meds. This extreme of human behaviour actually scares me. We're seeing increases of shootings, stabbings, king hits, etc and often over the most trivial of things or as the result of drugs and/or mental issues.

In truth, I find this both incredibly sad and disturbing. Yes, it's funny in that he's off his rocker over soup - but really! [eek]

You just don't get it. It's not about laughing at him. It's about laughing at yourself.  I would find it more "sad and disturbing" for someone who's anger is so repressed that they don't find this funny. This guy is obviously angry and frustrated about more than just having his soup packet taken.  We've all been there, in one way or another.  I'm not worried about his emotional state, because he, at least, has the ability to express his anger without hurting himself or projecting on to his buddy nearby...or, passive-aggressively patronizing the OP in a public forum.

So let's get this straight - I'm in the wrong for expressing my own opinion???

... from the mouth of a citizen of the land of free speach. HAH.

If that's reasonable behaviour and expression in your mind, I'm not going within a hundred miles of your place.

Also for the record, nothing in my post was negative towards the OP, so you can step down from your high horse.

I side with Kev on this - I didn't find it funny at all

I've been on a few 'domestic violence' calls in my EMT days, and I wouldn't go NEAR that guy without an armed officer present. And yes, I've helped to 'detain' or handcuff a few like him. Neither he nor that situation is funny or healthy, IMO.

Nothing against the OP for posting it. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

You sound pretty aggressive and angry now, man. Lighten up! Life's too short.
This guy didn't hurt anyone. He also didn't break any laws. He's just upset. No need to go restraining anyone, WOW.  I worry about guys who don't express their anger and calmly walk onto college campuses or a post office with a gun, not guys like this.

+ 1 Kev and WOW.

I agree with you Tiny Shop that it can be the quiet and silent who suddenly blow the fuse in a big way.

As to this video, I believe the man is in real mental distress. I base this on some past experiences with distressed parents and students when I was a school Principal.

Another man another situation, it might have been funny. But this example was and looked quite different.

Yes I have become annoyed when I have lost something, only this morning
the last screw of a pkt rolled under my wood store!  [eek]

... so you're still attempting to say I shouldn't have my own opinion??

"Lighten up! Life's too short." ... that's simply rude.

Also, you shouldn't confuse disbelief, fear and concern with aggression - very different things. No aggression here, you have simply made me very upset.

I really can't understand why you're jumping down my throat when I share my honest opinions. Just because you see nothing but something funny in someone going through real distress doesn't mean everyone does.

I sure my dad has reacted  the same when we were kids when we stole his stuff ha ha what a laugh that video is can't stop watching it he does a little jig have way thru the clip ha ha

I know that most of the comments here are made is jest and probably should be using such emoticons as  [big grin] [poke] [huh] to indicate no hard feelings.  But just in case the comments are really negative in any way - STOP.

The video is one of millions on YouTube that really has no relevance unless you were involved at that place at that point in time.

I watched this at lunch today and made a complete fool of myself laughing so hard.  Next time I can't find a tool I'm going to start screaming about soup just for the video nostalgia.
