Does anybody have experience with this?

www.timbersilwood.com

Here is the site of the distributor in California:
woodwontburn

I am interested in using it outdoor and/or in contact with soil/water as an alternative to chemically treated wood.

I haven't used it, but have done quite a bit of investigation into these products.

My biggest concern is the impact they have on the cutting tools.  The reports that I have read indicate that it destroys sawblades.

I would be interested to read these reports if you have links.

Searching for "timbersil" and "blades", I found a lot of people wondering about the dulling issue, but few facts (except for the manufacturer who claims their treated pine is as hard as hardwood and does not dull the tools more.

It looks like this product has been there for a while, but for some reason has not really taken off. I just haven't found what the reason was/is.

I will try to find links to the reports I read a while back.  I did a quick search, but didn't come up with much.

These products are actually treated with sodium silicate (water glass or liquid glass), not traditional glass.  Supposedly, it is no more harmful than the wood itself.  It has been used for years to seal eggs.
