I had to change the permission on the link, it should work now.

That was awesome!  And, no table saw I assume...all done with the TS55 and Kapex as your main cutting tool.

Came out super nice.  Thanks for posting the pics...loved seeing your set-up -- the dual fence on the MFT is a great idea!

Nice work.
Did you use white oak Domino's?

Must be the time of year, cause I am working through the logistics of fixing a 12' x 18' wall of wooden casement windows (Kolbe) with about the same amount of rot in the sash and sill.

The Dominos are white oak, the ones through both corners were 2.75" long the ones that key them were 1.25" long. They are both 6mm.

The one thing I should have done was fill the grain on the exterior side. It telegraphs through the paint.

If there is any way you can use the QSWO, use it. My second choice would be cypress.

How are the frames on your job Tim?

For the most part the frames are fine...near as I can tell. The bottom row of window frames (stiles sitting on the frame/sill) are toast, and the sill plate (on the foundation) below that row is "punky" so it needs to be replaced. All in all probably easier to replace everything and fix any framing and rough opeing that has started to rot.
The cost will be, well it'll be interesting...
I will start another thread and post pictures.

Post up some pics. I can at least offer my sympathy.

On a wall that size, I'd be setting frames with no sashes, then resetting the sashes. I'm just to old and feeble to deal with all that weight.

Are the QSWO tenons available as a stock item or did you resaw them yourself?
Thanks for the cool slideshow!

I just make the tenons that are not stock items. It is easy to do once you've done it a few times. I make the blank somewhere around 2' long, then cut up what I need.

You're welcome, I guess I should check the photos out as a slide show.
