After 22 years in the same house, the time to move is upon us.  I'm gaining shop space, a 3 car garage vs 2, and the plan is to A/C it next spring.  It's too late for this season and it's a moot point as my spouse has taken it upon herself to spend every nickel available on our remodeling.  ::)  The cabinet guys are amazing, they can eyeball something and make it happen.  We had substantial work to do in the kitchen with cabinets being reworked, moved, added etc.  I'm going to have the garage floor epoxied and then I plan to install a couple of sets of Flowwall cabinets.  I got their sample kit and I like the way they can be easily rearranged and everything will be off the floor.  I could build my own but I don't have the time and I wanted something flexible.  The other side is I could justify getting a Domino!  ;D  Or maybe one of those Mafell DD40's.  They look pretty amazing although very pricey!  I just started today to get stuff outta my cabinets to pack in my existing garage and I found some stuff that I had forgotten about.  I figured this is the perfect time to start chucking things as if I haven't used them in 10 years, I probably won't ever.  A lot of stuff is going because it was replaced with a much better Festool equivalent like old sand paper for ROS's I no longer use.  I have enough new systainers to warrant building another sysport so that will be my first project in the new shop.  I'm a little concerned about how the movers are going to handle relocating my K3 and A3-31.  Those are beasts but they have the mobility kits so I'll be watching that part of the move carefully.  I'll also move all the systainers myself as I don't want any of those to accidentally "walk off".  :'(  I already have the 220 ready to go so I should be ready to rock and roll as soon as we move in.  We added a window in our kitchen to add some light that created a perfect view for the neighbor to look into if he is upstairs looking our way.  With that in mind, I have been commissioned to build a lattice screen 9' tall and about 30' long just inside our fence line to block his view.  Should be another good project to get started on as soon as we move and it has cooled down a bit.  Only a 100 today but maybe it will cool off by Christmas.  ;D  This remodeling project started in May and it will be the last week of September before it's ready to move into.  The painters alone will have taken 5 weeks!  Thank goodness as making double house payments is no fun!  I'll post some pics when it's done.

I will!  The move is the final chapter in a rough year.  My FIT passed away at 98 at the very of end last year and he was the consumate pack rat!  We found stuff squirreled away that hadn't seen the light of day in probably 60-70 years like WWII Army issued kits that had never been opened.  Of course, my wife and her brother were busy taking dibs on old stuff that I thought would be better suited for the trash man but who am I to say?  The process of the estate sale and selling the house took 7 months.  In Feb, my mom passed after a lengthy illness so there was making sure my dad was ok.  Fortunately, they lived 5 minutes from us so he has been a frequent dinner guest!   ;D  In the middle of all this, we needed to find a bigger house since my sis in law is handicapped and had been living in my FIT house and she needed to move in with us.  Being the only sister with two older brothers necessitated that move.  Then we had to get our house ready to sell but the market in N. Tx is so hot that we were warned not to  put it on the market until we were ready to move.  With our contractor telling us we were a month away, we listed the house and it was sold in 12 hours... at list price! ;D ;D  We should have asked more for it!  Now our contractor is hedging a bit on the move it date and we are pushing the heck outta him to git r done.  I'm not going to know what to do with myself so it will be time to return to shop!
