TKS 80 problem

I’m having a serious issue with my Festool TKS 80 and I’m desperate for help.

While cutting, the blade sometimes suddenly shifts/moves during the cut and ruins the workpiece. It feels like something goes out of alignment randomly. At first I thought the blade angle or alignment needed adjustment. When I realign/calibrate it, the saw cuts perfectly again.

But as soon as I move or reposition the fence, the problem comes back. Then the blade seems misaligned again and the cut becomes inaccurate or the workpiece gets damaged.

It almost feels like:

the fence is not staying parallel to the blade,
or something in the trunnion/blade alignment shifts when the fence is adjusted,
or the table/fence mechanism has play somewhere.

Has anyone experienced this on the TKS 80?
What should I check or adjust first?

I would really appreciate any help because this is becoming impossible to work with.

That is a known issue with fences of Festools saw tables. Can be fixed. At the end there is an angled piece of steel that has to be adjusted to grip more firmly onto the profile. I don’t remember where to find a how to, but it could be here somewhere…

I can’t find any useful information about it. I checked this part — does it have to be curved? Does anyone have the same tks 80 and could check?
