I'm almost finished a very realistic train bed for my 2 year old son, decided to make the step stool a little fancier than normal.
Baltic birch plywood, built with a TS-55, Carvex 420, MFT, and DF500.
Picked up some self levelling feet from Lee Valley, along with some General Stain Java gel stain. I also bought a circle cutter for my drill press from LV and I got impatient cutting the circles as I was doing it in an unheated garage at -20ºC. I think the burnt wood on the wheel edges works really well!
