I would just like to compliment Shane Holland from Tool Nut for his exceptional customer service.
Recently as many of you know Festool USA has been going through some reorganization with its order and sale processes, this has lead to many delays which had caused their customers to become very frustrated.
With that being said l ordered the CMS Router table set and had to wait an extended period of time to receive it
Super Shane always kept me informed of the progress of my order, mailed me some swag during the waiting period and when it did arrived mailed it first class to to me in Florida.
Well because of Super Shane's excellent customer service, Tool Nut now has a customer for life.
Tool Nut should be so proud that they have an excellent employee such as Shane who represents their company so well.
Thanks again!
Kevin Sumner.

Kevin,

Thanks for the order and the patience while we waited for shipments to come in from Festool. Always glad to help and it was great having the chance to speak to you on the phone. Hope you had a very Happy birthday and got a chance to give the CMS a try over the weekend.

I just had a similar purchase from Toolnut for the CMS-GE, with the difference being that two of the four boxes showed up looking pretty beat up. The box with the sliding table rail had a hole in it that literally looked like it was run through with a giant spike. I immediately contacted Toolnut and they requested that I go through the setup process and see what parts needed replacing.  I was pretty upset initially but after taking inventory and going over the parts with a fine-toothed comb, I couldn't find any sign of damage to the components in the two boxes.  Test runs of material are square and accurate.

Matthew at Toolnut has been very responsive over the last 2 days since I received it and very apologetic over the condition of the shipment. Service and support have been a positive experience.

If anything, my only comment would be that the box containing the sliding table rail and the box containing the CMS insert could use some beefing up, but that probably has more to do with Festool than Toolnut. The box of smaller components that Toolnut packaged themselves was very well padded.

Shane: for reference, Matthew has copies of photos if you want/need to see them. It sounded like this was a rare occurrence.

[member=26212]Travis Campbell[/member], thanks for the post about your experience. Sounds like this was one of those situations where the shipper wasn't particular nice to your package.  [scared]

I'm glad that, in the end, the CMS was not damaged and that the condition met your expectations. If you do end up finding anything, please give myself or Matt a call or shoot over an email and we'll get it taken care of for you.

Matt's a definitely great guy and someone I'm very proud to work with. He's exceptionally helpful and thorough.

I've bought from various dealers but have settled on Toolnut also.  When I bought my two CMS VLs, the boxes were damaged both times but nothing contained was injured.  My suggestion would be to ship the slider and table in separate boxs as I think having the table and the slider in one package increases the weight and bulkiness and thus the chance of rough handling.  Another stragety would be to do what the company I buy my automatic swinging and sliding doors from...they paste warning stickers that say "Caution Expensive Eletronic Equipment Within"...never had one delivered damaged, even the 22' ers.

Good feedback on the CMS components, thanks. I've shared with our warehouse folks to make sure they get some additional attention.
