@ JMB, this is my style too [big grin]! Really like the rustic feel to it.

@ Windmill man: Quarter/rift sawn wood is "the best wood". That's because the growrings are in the thickness of the boards, the main advantage is that the boards expand
and contract in the thickness and not in the width. So it's the best choise for making doors [wink]. Rift sawn wood is quite expensive, because the sawmill can't make many boards
from 1 tree log.

Are that hand wrought nails Mark?!

Well...they certainly look hand wrought, but no. I dread to think how much they would cost if they were, these cost £30 for a kilo which was enough.

That looks lovely Mark.  Doors & wardrobes look really nice although different styles.  Not so sure on the blanket chest, too many lines & flutes for me.
You must go through gallons of HWO.

Thanks Woodguy, I know what you mean with the chest, its not really to my taste either. But was nice to make because no machines or power tools were used in its construction. Planed and thicknessed by hand, mouldings scratched in, etc etc.

ps. yes I do go through gallons of the stuff.
