Transfer Domino Assortment from Classic Systainer to T-Loc?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if the Domino Assortment from the classic systainers can be easily transferred to T-Loc systainer?

There are wooden dividers which I suspect should be OK, but there is also a dense foam that is attached to the underside of the lid.

Anyone tried it?

I did the transition and had to make some small notches where the ribbing for the T-loc hits.  Not a big deal and it beats buying new dividers!

Many thanks! I did a quick test tonight to look at the concept and it seemed easy enough. Good to hear from someone who has actually done it though.

Cheers!

That said, the domino assortment systainer (available individually) is pretty nice for dominos AND other bits of kit.  There are three removable trays, each with a movable divider (extra dividers also are available through EKAT.)
I like it bc I can take out just one easy-to-access tray at a time.

I prefer the looks of the classic systainer's wood dividers over the T-Loc version.  They look, uh, more classic!

I've converted 4 classic Systainer inserts to fit the T-LOC. Every insert needed the same thing to fit inside. Like [member=1018]builderbob[/member] said, the insert notches need to be widened and deepened by maybe .060" (1/16"). A 5-15 minute job depending upon how fussy you are.

So why not make your own to fit your needs?  I did it for my RO 90 abrasives Systainer, but the concept applies for dominoes.

Like this?

I guess I should have mentioned I have two tenons systainers, one classic and the other T-Loc for my Domino 500.  I bought the classic set with cutter late last year when they had the 1/2 off sale going.  I figured I could live with the classic systainer if getting another set of cutter and tenons at half price.  [cool]

Bingo!!!  That's where I got the original idea from.
