Do you know that from experience? I don't see why that would happen. If a tool isn't plugged into the transformer with it's power switch activated no current will flow thru the transformer. If there are other electronics in a transformer (thus it's more than just a transformer), then maybe it would trigger the vaccum.

The question was what happens when you plug the tranny into the CT.
In your case you plugged the CT into the tranny which is a totally normal operation.
