Trip to Germany

[attachimg=1][attachimg=2]Hello all Festoolians. I recently went on a trip up the Danube river (last week). While touring the abbey at Melk I heard the sounds of construction. Naturally I made my way towards the sound and found the pictured Systainer arrangement mounted to a hand truck. It owner was up on a scaffold so I did not get to speak with him.
  The second picture was taken in Prague (a side trip). Always good to see the green.

I was also in Germany this week.
While waiting for the bus to arrive at the hotel a guy walked past carrying a C.S.50......then back rolling a Kapex......then a bundle of systainers. I followed a short distance to a house and took a look. Inside it was full of Systainers, extractors and two guys working on a timber panel hallway.
  Never far away from a systainer in Germany........

Sure its coming along well but mainly tech German. Conversation is dependent on which region due to accent. Will get there in the end.

Phil, would you have any advice for shopping for Festool while near and around Germany. Is it worth seeking out while traveling for special items to bring back to the States? Nothing expensive or power related. I have a friend now living in Switzerland that I'm planning on visiting next year.

As a young soldier I was stationed in Germany. I was there when the wall came down and didn't have a real job after. Living in Germany i got a great chance, especially after the wall came down, to tour and interact in the German society. Very awesome people with efficiently brilliant designs. From dust extractors too the rail system. Next fall I am heading back to see some friend, the changes in 20+ years and to a beer garden!!
