my friend is going to London this weekend, besides a saw module, what can he bring back for me,naina, toolie is one thing that I hope he can find, slingers and amazon uk,both web sites say I can get one, usd is like and 100 bucks,so what I would like is a address or phone number to send him to, he has all of one day,in london, thanks for the  effort in advance

I'm not sure there are any dealers downtown london. Its like saying find a festool dealer in NYC, they tend to be further out of major cities. But hopefully someone from the UK can chime in.

I didn't ask him exactly where he was going to be,he is playing to shows with bobby womack, with a day off in between

There's a dealer in Kilburn which is only 20 minutes or so from the West End. Check out the Festool UK website for their exact address. One thing to note, most of the dealers I have been to do not stock the whole range because it is so large(I haven't been to the large out-of-town centres like Axminster etc.) so it is better to order it in advance so you can check it out in person at the store.

A vacsys would be on my list and the jigsaw insert for the CMS. The vacsys is only available in 240V I believe.

im not sure of the exact locations of the stores but i would guesse that  dealers would be able to deliver (or curior) to a hotel etc.

Hi

I use http://directbrandtools.com/ when I visit London. It is located right next to putney bridge station, They also have a festool sale at the moment.

It is just a short trip on the district line. (sone2 on the tube).

thanks all for the info,he has now left,so I do have more time to forward addresses and phone no's

Don't forget to tell him to get a VAT receipt and you will get about 15% back on your purchases.

thank you to all that responded, I hope I get a toolie, if I get the part no's of anything else cool, that he will want to bring back, that also would fit under the category of available here, but not around

jig saw module

belt sander module

plus the items you would need to install the 2200 into a CMS.

Arrrrrrrr... my trip to london fell through.

The customer (a VERY VERY VERY large bank) kept putting it off while they tried to get through their bureaucracy and procurement process. By the time they did, I was committed to another customer on a relatively long term (minimum 1 year) contract.

So now instead of London, I get to go to San Francisco once a month.

But on the good side.. I'll build up enough FF miles for a cheap trip to London on my own! Bwah ha ha ha....
