Trip To The Edge of the Earth

Watching now.  Looks like I'm going to love it.

Is this FROM Top Gear?

Wow, his comments at the end....  I'm sure he's spot on too.  Great stuff as always Sal.  Thank you for sharing.

Stunning, you Americans are not to bad at that space stuff eh  ;)

Don't think it has anything to do with Top Gear, James May has his own series of Science based programmes so it might be for one of them ?

Hmmm does he really?  I had no clue.  We don't get much of that or any of his stuff here.  I'll have to dive into BBC and see if I can find'em.

This was an excerpt from James May at the Edge of Space

The whole documentary spends a lot of time on the preparation for the flight, practise, physical examinations, etc.

This clip only had the last 10 min of the actual flight. Good stuff.

I also like the less serious James May's Toy Stories series which is all about cool toys like Legos, electric trains, etc.

I've enjoyed all of James Mays' shows ... the Brooklands "recreation" was great fun!

This thread just reminded me that I started buying Marklin HO digital a while back and stuck it all out of the way ... I think that was 10 years ago. I should really do something with it!

Have you seen that video of the miniature city in Germany?  I think originally I saw it posted on the FOG.
