Hi, I know both FEBQ and KEB are new plunge saw and only KEB is purcahsbale from US now.  KEB seems to have more power than current versions (REQ).  Does anyone know if new corded and cordeless versions have difference in power?

The corded version FEBQ definitely does not have more power then the "old" REBQ. But due to the thinner blade, there is less friction which improves speed...

Well, tooth design and blade thickness.

It's often said the 18V saw cuts faster. But that's excluding the time spent on walking to the charger I think.

Hi I’m new to festool and looking to purchase the TS55 KEB in the UK but can’t find it anywhere - from experience does anyone know when this is likely to be available here? Thanks in anticipation.

try kelvin power tools, tool fest - if they don't have one in the will proably get one from germany for you, and nuts and bolts in weston super mare.  there is also FFX

[member=8955]Coen[/member] i was running my old TSC with a 1.8 kerf blade, in 12mm solid grade laminate, (took RK off) and i ran the batts to 1 bar, charged them over lunch, and then ran them flat after and used my battery from the carvex on the tsc until the other batts were charged.  probably ripped over 50 linear meters. and spent less time putting batts on charge, than i would have done running cords.  just sayin [wink]

FFX and ITS have them in stock. Axminster Tools are expecting a delivery next week.

I don't work without dust extractor, so that would increase the battery use *a bit*.

the i have run batts down both with and without and extractor.  and a bit is probably 1cm of cutting max [big grin]

all the diffenece between finishing and not on some cuts [wink]
