ts 55 rebq electronic brake refuses

Hi,

Every now and then the electronic brake of my TS 55 REBQ refuses, the saw does not stop in 2 sec but takes 10 sec or more.

Has anyone had this experience and how did you solve the problem?

We don't have that model over here so I can't be of assistance.  But I would urge you you to contact Festool NL.  A blade brake that doesn't work consistently is a safety issue and should be looked at - IMHO.

It's not by any chance getting some fine dust under the switch and when you release the switch the part which you push with your thumb slightly sticks and doest return 100% of the way back. So the brake doesn't kick in
