  Hi Guys,

As  most of us are aware, there was a problem with Festool’s TS 55 REQ Plunge Cutting Track Saw’s plunge mechanism on some of the saws. Festool was proactive and issued a recall.

Short story; problem solved.  The Prodigal Son returns.

We will getting our supply shortly and will available for sale October 23. Pre-order yours today, your card won’t be billed until it ships.

Bob

My warehouse is changing TS 55 REQ from Not Available to "available for pre-order" very, very shortly, so please excuse the temporary delay in ordering.

Bob

Bob,
I sent you a email via your site  [big grin]
your the 1st I asked

Ordered my NEW TS55-REQ

ThanX Bob

[thumbs up] [thanks] [thumbs up]

THANX Bob !!!!!  [big grin]

I just got my invoice & shipping notice for my NEW TS55REQ I pre-ordered from Bob Marino

Bob let me swap the regular 55" glide rail for the Holey 55" rail for a added $10.oo ,
That Holey rail was shipped early & I've already received it last week .
Looking forward to getting my mitts on the New saw ,
On my next influx of fresh  Eek! cash I'll get the 118" rail as I need to break down 4' X 8' sheet goods in both rips & crosscuts
I use a shop & I'm never in the field , so even thou the 118" is expensive the ease of use on rips of long sheet goods is important to me .

Again ThanX Bob , I'll be ordering up the 118" & a replacement MFT top in 2 weeks

The service & communication by you & your staff  is Top Shelf Stuff !

  Welcome, Mike.

Anything less than overpacking, to help prevent shipping damage, is false economy. Soooooo, we overpack. :)

I buy from Vendors with your shared practice that " Over-packing Is Best "
Many times this is the 1st thing I take into account when considering a purchase ,
The  lowest total price OR shipping speed  means nothing if the shipment is under packed & arrives damaged .

Also I must comment on the Extra Exclusive Bob Marino's TS55 REQ Supplemental users manual that you have added to the TS55 REQ shipment .

I was really surprised on how well it is written by Rick Christopherson .
The color photographs are Way better & easier to understand than the Fesstool line drawings .
The 8 1/2 x 11" format that your manual is in is so so much better on the eyes  that in it's self makes the reading of your manual a ease .

There are no better technical manuals out there than Rick C's. I have them for the Kapex, Domino 500, Domino 700, OF 1400 and 2200 Routers,  TS 55 and 75 Saws and the Carvex Jigsaws.
I was initially wavering between having the catalogs printed in black and white or in color. That wavering lasted as soon as I saw a color version. Simply no contest.  Glad you like it.
