Just received my brand new TS75. Is there away to calibrate the angle? Currently when I set the angle at 45 degrees the cut i get is more like 43 degrees. Thanks for the help!

Welcome to the FOG!  If you tip it all the way to the stop is it stopping at 43 or have you just measured it when you set the pointer to 45?

Peter

I set the pointer at 45 and made a cut. I then measured the cut and its closer to 43.

drs7575, [welcome] to the FOG!

Now that you're here how about starting a new topic and tell us about yourself, your shop, and your projects? And be sure to post some pictures - we LOVE pictures!

I'd love to hear feedback as well.  I did the same thing last night with my TS55.  I was blown away that there wasn't a detent stopping at 45 degrees, and with my best "eyeball" attempt to get it dialed in, my cut was off a few degrees.

I admit that Indon't have a 75 but I think you have a stop.  Why don't you try to see if that gets you accurately to 45.

Peter

What cuts I've done with my TS75 have all been 90's, but if you don't get a helpful answer soon I'll go out to the shop and see what I can figure out?

Peter I am not sure what you mean by a 'stop'. Maybe that's a part i can adjust to get the predefined 45 adjusted to a true 45.

Wow, I'll make a separate post tomorrow with some about me info. Any help you could muster would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There is an adjustable stop the saw stops against when you bevel it.

Part number 72, #79 is the 90º stop.

Tom
