Is there any thing that will block the window for blade change. That's the only place I get dust escaping from. I don't really want to use painters tape but that's all I have thought of.

I use duct tape.

Iam suprised festool doesn't make a removable cap . I will use tape but would like something alittle nicer.

We recommend blue painters tape over duct tape.  Less left over residue to clean up...

I used a small piece of thin cardboard with blue tape at the top only as temporary fix the first time using the saw.....last year.  Still works great.
