I recently bought a TS 75 second hand but it is missing the knob to tighten down the outboard splinter guard. I may be overlooking it, I have checked the Ekat catalogue but to no avail. Acme Tools lists their splinter guard 5 pack replacements to come with an addition knob, so I went to my local dealer to purchase the same pack of splinter guards (491473) but it did not contain a replacement knob. Other sites do not state that the same item number of splinter guards to come with a replacement. Anyone know how to reliably source this?

I'm pretty sure its an M6 thread. The "nut" part of the nut and bolt combo is on the splinter guard insert so you can find something that fits and then use that.
If the saw came with the plunge cut kick back stop you might be able to use the knob/bolt from that.

Yes that is the one, thank you Frnk! I had a feeling I was looking in the wrong area, why would it ever be on the same schematic as the saw itself?!
