I'm going to install some laminate floor (I do this several times a year, but not as a living). I was planning on buying the
Tenryu 160mm 48T, Festool TS55 Blade, Laminate, but it isn't available at the place I planned on purchasing. They offered a substitute -
Tenryu 160mm 48T, 20mm, Festool TS55 Melamine Crosscut Blade. How would the Melamine compare to the
Oshlun SBFT-160048 160mm 48 Tooth FesPro Crosscut ATB Saw Blade.
I've used the jig saw before, but I have some new helpers (my wife) and she prefers the MFT and TS55 (I love her!). The other option is to buy the Festool one, but apparently my wife doesn't love me enough for the $110++.
I would just stick to the jig saw if it were me, but rips are a bit of a pain. I want to keep my stock blade for breaking down sheets good and other hobby work, so if I go with the TS55, I have to get some new blade.
Does anyone have a thought on those blades and options?
