Am I going nuts or what? I remember a thread that showed some guy that developed a method to mount a TS55 upside down in a MFT. It was slick and I wanted to revisit the idea to decide if it would work for a project I have coming up.  But I can't find the thread.  Anyone know what is going on?
Thanks
Ed

Ed,

If memory serves, this thread was deleted because it implied that this was a safe, approved use of a TS55.  While inventive, it was definitely NOT a safe use of the TS55.  I believe that leaving that thread would have resulted in a significant liability for the forum, and therefore it was deleted.  Again, this is my recollection (and opinion).

Regards,

Dan.

Is this it?

I think he's selling them now.  The insert that is.

Please refer to our forum guidelines regarding this type of information.  We have determined that this "jig" could create an unsafe scenario and thus this information was removed from the forum.  I will be locking this thread.

Additionally, Tom Bellemare of Tool Home was selling this product and he and the product manufacturer, Steve Jones, offered to have to have the information removed from the forum.  Here's a quote from Tom regarding the topic:

I think there was a post in an earlier discussion about adapTableTool, where Steve and I agreed that it might not be appropriate for Festool, as new owners, to continue the thread. As I recall, we offered to have it eliminated with no hard feelings.
