TS55 Plunge trigger getting sticky: how to adjust?

The action of pushing the green safety catch up before squeezing the trigger and plunging is getting a bit sticky. I find as i'm about to plunge and cut, the catch has jammed just a little, stopping the smooth flow of work.
Is there a way of adjust / cleaning this mechanism? Or oiling it...

Compressed air blast? Maybe some WD40 or equivalent? It’s a totally mechanical mechanism so should free up after a cleaning.

I don't know that I would use a solvent/oil based product on plastic? Some thing more like a silicone spray seems more friendly
