I have to give it to Festool's precision engineering when it comes to planned obsolescence, my TS55 which has had only light home use died today 29/11/17 when the warranty expired 26/11/17
I'm gutted, I have bought the entire tool range pretty much and I have budget tools I've hammered for a decade that are still going strong. Saw is completely dead, after 10 mins rest I pull thee trigger and I hear the motor almost start (like 0.25 second stir) and then its completely dead again. Saw still looks brand new. Hugely disappointed - its left me completely stranded as I am fitting new French doors, there's a gaping hole in my house and its literally freezing outside.
Obviously I have changed fuse and tried another power cable.
