The GRS and GRS PE need ALL the width to fit in a systainer.
I do mean ALL.
TSO clearly designed to be "as big as possible but still fit in a T-loc". By a millimeter ..
I actually uses even the space around the labels - so there is in practice only one way it can fit in T-loc systainer.
If you were planning to put it "along" in a SYS 4, it may work, but you would have to have is cross-ways somehow. The internal width of the systainer would not do.

Got it. As mentioned, the GRS can fit in a T-Loc systainer horizontally only one way - check the photos on TSO site with their systainer bundle. The position of the GRS on those picture is the only position it would fit horizontally and the "sides" of that position is only way it would fit vertically. So yes, you can put in to the "front" of the Systainer sideways, but would need to tie it down somehow.
The GRS is a precision instrument. So I would not allow it anywhere where it would be banging against things.
I store my GRS along with short rails and clamps in a SYS-1 for this reason and have the TSC in a SYS 4 instead of the SYS 5 it came in.
