I used to have the old Ts55 and I sold it and upgrade to the new Ts 55. But when I use it with my NON anti static hose stops working for few seconds while I'm cutting a piece. It happened with 3 different new ts55 saws.  Any body else having the same issue?

I used my TS55REQ when I first bought it with my Fein vac and a Festool non-antistatic hose; no problem. I don't see why it should make a difference. Have you checked with Festool Service?

I've made hundreds of cuts with my TS-55, 75 and non-antistatic hoses and Fein extractors with no issues.

Could there be some sort of loose power connection, either at the saw, at the vac or in the cord itself?

I asked because the CT 22 had receptacle issues.

It is weird. Have you used it with the anti-static hose? If so was the issue gone?

Did you twist the plug it chord once you insert it? I'm not trying to measure your competence but if you hadn't used a new plug it chord it might not be thought about.

If it has happened with 3 new saws i would suspect the ct at fault. I would try the saw plugged direct to an outlet and try it with the CT on manual to see what happens.
