TSC55 Failing to start

I am finding that the the saw will run off the bottom battery but when  i put the upper batter in it fails to start. I have had to return this saw before because of this failing and am disappointed that with little use it has occurred again.  Has anyone  else experience this Problem?  I thought it may have been a one off , but am more concerned as there were also a couple of returned saws at the shop i bought it from with the same problem.

What was repaired the first time?

Have you tried with different batteries or swapped them around?

I can't remember what it said on the paper work, and did not investigate as it was working when returned. I have swopped  the batteries around and tested them robustly  on my drill and they work fine.

For some reason the mechanism that connects the saw to the battery was not working .  I the gave the connectors( or what ever you call them )  a gentle tap . It works  now and have tested it , no idea if work or just a  coincidence. It something i will have to monitor.
