ug extensions on my dewalt chop saw

I wanted to use my ug extension on my dewalt saw on Dewalt stand too. So I started looking at the bracket and saw that I could just use a aluminum L bracket screwed to the base. I then cut down my dewalt stand legs so the saw seats at 900 mm, this now intergrades this saw with our beautiful System.

I like it. how secure is the wing on the l bracket. I assume you can slid it off if you wanted to

Alan u can slide it off but it takes enough force. I was surprised how tight I could get it on. i have not used it in the field yet, and if it does slip I was going to rip a angle piece of hard wood and epoxy it to L. This will represent the v on the kapex and help with alignment.
