Not even close the chopper hit the street circa 1970 , so 45 years ago and was solely responsible in saving Raleigh from the scrap heap. Cool looking bike but a pig at speed and far too easy to pull a wheelie even if you didn't want to .  still loved it though.

I've had Ralleigh bike while living in Hamburg. I had it for two years, even it got modified. It's one of those things. "Got mo make it mine". Had to sell it at the end of it all as I was immigrating to England to commence with my studies. Those were the days. Now I'm getting older with bezzare obsession for Festool, cars, scooters and my longest obsession with traveling no matter how far it has to be. Planing a long weekend trip to Holland during May bank holiday.

Pictures were taken at 13 months old. I do not ride it in the wet or it will disintegrate  [big grin]

Some nice runs down your way too Warren. I spent a month fitting out an Edinburgh Woolen mill in Cheddar some years ago. I always had bikes when I was younger but 5 kids and a nasty festool habit stopped that but maybe one day...

Yes, some nice roads and only an hour from the coast. I was bitten by the bug at 16 when I got my first scooter and although had a lengthy gap am very happy to be back on two wheels.
