Hi
Anyone found anywhere where you can buy the c18 basic ie body only and use the free battery voucher.

The C18 is nowhere in Europe available yet.
Some shops say 8th of April.
Just be patient!

Hi toolfest when are you expecting delivery of the c18 basic? If purchasing off your website how do you go about using the battery voucher?

any chance of a fog member discount?
i see the ctl sys price is sizeably lower than ffx.

Hi MB

We have ordered them but predicting when Festool will deliver is a game I no longer play.

Rest assured pre-ordering customers are first in line.

Best regards

Hi MSC

I wish there was a way I could do that, but sadly not, sorry no FOG extra discount on this one.

Best regards

No problem and how do you go about claiming the free battery? Do I just post the voucher down to yourselves.

What is it people like about C drills compared to Ts just curious.

Ergonomics . with a c drill the handle is at the back so there is less force on your wrist to keep the drill straight . If you imagine using a corded drill with the handle in the middle like a "T" drill it wouldn't be as comfortable as a pistol or "C" grip drill . I think the reason most manufactures use T handles for cordless is balance.  Most cordless are designed for one handed use and corded with 2 hands to support the weight of the drill and control the extra forces a corded tool creates over cordless. I could be totally wrong but that's my reasoning.
