Anyone know of anywhere I can get some replacement screws for a load of sets of door knobs the Wife has bought? Probably something like an 8 x 3/4 but I reckon a 6 might actually fit better as when you screw the supplied (snappy) screws in they pull the mortice knob onto the door too hard and stop the mortice from springing back properly - it's double sprung too.

The knobs are held onto the spindle(?) really well with the grub screw, so where I'm not attaching to a rim lock, there's no real need for anything much more than a visual fix through the holes and into the door.

Rang the manufacturer/importer/'man with some posh looking packaging that intercepts the crate from China and sells on with a posh sounding name' and they don't have any - and don't seem like they will either.

I've tried my locals, one of which is Nuts & Bolts which surprised me by not keeping anything like it in stock.

Not sure  about antique screws but bronze screws are used in boat building so you should try marine suppliers.

Whoops. I meant Antique Brass, they said it was Florentine Bronze - which sounds Marketingy to me. But it could be a thing.

Think those knobs are made by Carlisle brass from their Delamain range, don't know if that helps.
