UK - NEW FESTOOL ACCESSORY 500875 SYS CENTROTEC 2015 Wood Set LIMITED EDITION

I agree about the NAINA issue, especially with something non powered.

I got my Centrotec Installers kit from a UK dealer during a period when none were available here in the USA. You might check with an overseas dealer to see if they can help you out. I know they are not supposed to, but I don't think its unheard of--- just sayin'

Hi Frank

They are a Limited Edition, and I think there were 300 or 400? made, but I'm not sure if that is just for the UK or EU. Anyway we had 16 come in today, half have already shipped tonight to customers. When we get down to the last 2 or 3 I'll attempt to reorder and only then will I know if we'll get more, such is the format with Limited Editions I suppose.

For you sir, I'll happily ship to your hotel during your stay but you may wish to order and pay in advance to guarantee you get one. See how you feel and let me know.

Best regards

Warren

Warren,

Can you give me a price and how I can pay (PayPal?? CC??) including shipping to Aberdeen. If I go for it, I'll ask you to hold the set until I can give you a firm date to ship in March, and the name and address of the hotel where I'll be staying.

Please PM.

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank

Why is this not offered in USA ??? Underwriters limited has issues with drill bits an screw tips. Or Festool wants to see clients disappointed. I just don't get it certainly not the way most multi national company's function. For example Mafell has the same tools and accsisories on every website world wide.
Of all the limited edition  installers kits offered ever this one is perfect and I will have to jump through flaming hoops to try to get one because of my location. Wow
Have a Great day [sad] [crying] [unsure]
Wow you guys love a moan about naina stuff.

This set has literally only been released here this week and do you realize how many good (non festool) tools you guys have over there that we have no chance of ever being sold here [emoji17]

I'll send you some of ours if you send me some of yours..!! [laughing]

PS - I wasn't moaning, just agreeing!

Received the new accessory sys today and thanks Warren. Well packaged and all in good order. Looking forward to getting all my other centrotec stuff in the spare compartments tomorrow and using it.  I've got to install 15 sets of door furniture so I'm sure to need some of it [big grin]

Let us know how you get on with it @jools

Mine also arrived yesterday thanks to Toolfests fast service.
Now if I can find where my wife hid my free battery voucher I can place an order for something else.

Got mine today. It looks really cool think I'm developing a bit of O.C.D (obsessive centrotec disorder) I only got the assembly set in December lol .

Am looking for a few bits to fill the empty space

got mine thru a dealer in Germany and the package its temporarily parked with my parents in Germany .....Unfortunately only make it to London next week on Monday/Tuesday... Daium.....

Thanks to Toolfest UK, my new NAINA 2015 Limited Edition Sys-Centrotec Kit arrived today at my hotel in Aberdeen Scotland! [tongue]

Very nice of them to hold on to the kit for nearly a month before shipping when I would be in Scotland for a few days for Helicopter Simulator annual recurrency.  VERY NICE KIT! [big grin] It will go well with my other two Limited Edition Centrotec kits from the last couple of years.

Now to figure out how to pack it in my suitcase and keep the total weight under 23kg for my return to Nigeria in a couple of days...and then back to Florida in April! [blink] (The kit weighs 4.2kg, about 9.6lbs)

Thanks again Warren and Angelina for the great service! [thumbs up]

Cheers,

Frank

Warren, what times are you open over the weekend? I fancy a visit if it's not to much of a triuble.

Regards

Sorry EV, weekdays only. Do remember if you need to see something but can't get over here we can request a Festool End User team member pays you a visit - just PM me with your phone number and we'll arrange it. It's no bother and the End User Team are awesomely helpful.

We've been a bit miffed the truck tour never came our way to be honest, so haven't felt inclined to do the Festool Mornings lately. However we hope to have an event in September, once it is finalised I'll let you know.

Best regards

Thanks Warren [emoji3]

Come on Festool get that truck down to Warren's he's got plenty of room and he's  one of your better dealers

Mine came in last Friday from the UK after being ordered on Monday. Shipping was less than I had expected. The kit is nice and the selection of driver bits makes it worth the money, everything else is a bonus. I'll never have to buy another driver bit for my drills. If only they made square drives for this kit. I know that they are available from someone else, but there really is no reason they don't make them for the US market. Some of the included driver bits (Pozi) have very limited use in the US. The only items I have seen them on is hinges and the jig I use for centering drawer and cabinet knobs. I don't know how many of these I would use in a lifetime considering I already have a regular Pozi screwdriver.
