Hi Guys

Thought I would let you know about a couple of new products we have

First, A Bag for Saw Blades.

and a Special Limited Edition Dark Blue Systainer with 4 SysLites inside

Sadly AFAIK the Systainer will not be available on it's own :(

Check out our website for both products, plus all the current Festool Special Offers.

Gotta ask.

Is the Festool Systainer with the the Sys-lites about the same color as the Festool blue or is it closer to the Tanos Sapphire blue?

Peter

Peter I have not seen the FOGTainer in the flesh, but from looking at pictures, I think it's nearer, if not the same, as the FOGTainer.

Thanks.  I was just curious.  In looking around at stuff I saw in the Tanos catalog an image of the Sapphire Blue with a Festool green latch and now this.  Whereas it was be special permission we were able to do the FogTainers (interesting that you knew what I was referring to  [thumbs up]) it seems that the guys here may have started something.

No way it can ever be the same as a FOGtainer... :)

FIVE HUNDRED QUID!!!!!!!! for 4 lights?? [jawdrop]

I'll have to put my day rate up ;)

What color is the handle on the Syslite Systainer?

Seth

It's also Festool green the same as the T-Loc knob.
It's a very nice looking systainer.
Festool should change all the new systainers to this colour-scheme.

No way, the light grey looks a lot  better. Looks more spacious. And the dark ones get very ugly over time when they become scratched and dirty.

I don't see why somebody would want to buy 4 syslites at once. If you're that desperate for light, I'd think there are far better as well as cheaper solutions around.

Peter it is an almost black, blue if that makes sense

I was really excited when I read "SysLite Systainer" ... what a stupendous disappointment !

A container in a container is just plain DUMB.

I want more Syslites, but I've been hanging out expecting the "obvious" kit - silly Festool.

Kev what do you think the obvious kit should consist of ?

For me it would house compact tripods (x2), and spare batteries. ... Maybe space for 3 Syslites and a decent clamp for up high. When I open a Systainer I don't expect to take out another "thing" and unpack it - that really defeats their purpose.

Whatever the "kit" should be, it should target the installer - so my thinking was two lights to fill a space and one focused on a work area (be it MFT or KAPEX centric).

While they're at it, a universal charging Systainer that plugs straight into the mains and can maintain half a dozen batteries.
