UK - Price changes 1st February 2012

Sorry to be the bearer of this news but just so you all know we've had notification of an average price increase of 5.32% across all FESTOOL product from 1st February 2012.

For example:

561515 CIRCULAR SAW    TS 55 EBQ-PLUS-FS GB240V Current Price £376 + VAT, soon to be £395 + VAT

564369 Cordless drills C 15 LI 3,0 Plus GB Current Price £354 + VAT, soon to be £372 + VAT

Needless to say, If you're looking for a tool soon then maybe buy it this month?

Well, the dollar has made gains on the Euro, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we might dodge a price increase this year.  We shall see.....

I think you chaps in the US have about as much chance of missing out on a price increase , as sticking your own elbow in your own ear.  [eek] According to the euro / sterling exchange rates we should have missed out or had minimal increase,  not a 5% plus one. [huh]

Someone just noticed that a U.S. price increase is mentioned at the top of Tool-Home.com's web site. For us it's March 1st.

That gives me a little more time to get the stuff on my list before it goes up. But not much time.  [scared]

The good news is that I'm buying a TS 55 or 75 tomorrow. (Locally)
