UK Tool Charity Donations?

I wonder if anyone knows of any charities in the UK that accept second hand power tools for redistribution?

Normal charities don't accept electrical goods. So I was wondering if there are any charities that distribute donated tools to underprivileged youngsters who are learning a trade, etc? I've got loads of Ryobi, Black & Decker, Green Bosch, etc stuff that I've replaced with more "professional" brands, but it's all still perfectly functional, but probably not worth much on the second hand market to bother listing on eBay.

I'm looking for a personal recommendation, not others simply doing what I can and copy & pasting the first few hits from google, so I can be sure they're going to a genuine charity/organisation that will appropriately distribute them.

What about finding a local free workshop. There's one near me that is for retired people to go along and learn diy.

Maybe you've got something like that near you.

That's a good idea and I might revert to it if I can't find a better option. I understand the importance of keeping the older generations active and engaged with hobbies.

However, given the way woodworking, engineering, etc seems to be being phased out at school level and the knock on effect that has, I'd rather (if possible) see them going somewhere that encourages youngsters to be able to learn a trade.
