In the pictures that flash bt on the page, the Kapex is shown with a extended rail system. I guess these are not out yet, but does anyone here have one? I ordered the Saw helper yesterday, thanks to Brice B. for turning me onto that in your review. Although the Saw helper looks to be a well thought out accessory, I wonder if I should hold out for the one in the picture. Too bad I just seen it today. Yea I know, return shipping will be whopper.

I've not used or even seen the Festool extensions wings so I can't comment on how well they work. My opinion is continuous extention wings like the Sawhelper are the only way to go for professional use (and nonprofessional use too 
).

Only for a afternoon, so I can't offer a real life opinion.
In theory its a unique set up, it is designed around the saw and works well.
I see it as ideal for a small home shop application.
As for withstanding the rigors of daily abuse, I refer to the money making kind,
where tools are treated like a red headed step child...that remains to be seen.
