US Dealer who ships to APO?

Good to know, because I just received an email that they wont ship the CMS without breaking it apart into smaller pieces so I'll use this opportunity to follow your advice.

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to find a US dealer who will ship to an APO address (currently living in Germany). I bought a few things on Amazon and they shipped to APO, but I'm trying to purchase the CMS GE Set and no website or company I've reached out to so far will ship it.

Suggestions?

Buy the CMS in Germany and if you want to use it on 110V just buy the 110V switch as a spare part from the US and swap it over. I'm sure that even with a switch swapover it will be much cheaper than buying it from the states and shipping it. Plus you can get all of the modules that are NAINA.

Upon looking into the advice of buying the spare part, I came upon this:http://ekat.festool.de/login/jsp/ma...-Kunde-FT_US&password=Customer&design=festool

When I go to CMS and look at the spare parts, it looks like I would need # 35 and 36? Can anyone else confirm or deny that?

I have a Swiss coffee machine that runs off 220v.  I'd definitely like to have a US model and not have to run the step-up transformer.  I bought my Festool power tools here in the US, so no transformers needed.  But I regret not buying some non-powered Festool gear when I was in Germany.

You already have 220v in the kitchen if you have a stove.
An outlet would allow you to run the coffee machine... and then the transformer can be used for Euro tools!  [smile]

I as I already has the GE unit, I bought the VL unit stand only as I already have 3 modules. Since they in the UK you can buy just the stand and not the entire CMS with the router insert. I got one here. But to make it able to connect with my US tools
I ordered the switch from the states. Now I could of ordered a 110V American style replacement plug from Amazon, I chose to just order the entire switch.

That switch aient cheap. Shipping was free to the APO, the switch added about $100 or more to the cost of the CMS when added into the total cost.
