Hi Guys,
Just brought my new TS 75 last week and have turned up on a new site today to find that there is no mains electric to use. I have a 2.5kw Generator that I can use, but will it be ok to run the TS from it. Im a bit concerned about the possibility of damaging the electronics in the saw.

Can anyone re-assure me that I am concerned over nothing!

Hi Tim , I wouldn't have thought it would do any damage but Im no electrician. I know in the past Ive had trouble with routers running on generators because of the variable speed they go a bit funny so I suppose you will get the same thing with the variable speed on the TS75

I've run my TS55, trion and others on a generator many times without experiencing any difficulty.  No difference in performance that I could see.

Thanks everyone! You have put my mind at rest.  [big grin]

It,s my first Festool purchase, and the last thing I would want to do is fry my new saw! [scared]
