Hi everyone. I am a hobbyist and have been using my CT-26E dust collector with a couple of other tools in my little shop. The CT and the tools both seem to work fine, and the CT is always plugged into a 20amp circuit running on 12/2 wire. So I have two questions that I have not found answers for.
1. Am I doing harm running these tools (outlined below) through the CT?
2. Could I run a 220V tool through the CT? In this case a bandsaw.
Tools I am running through CT currently
- 10" Bosch 1400 Contractor Saw (specs say it pulls 15amp and 120V)
- 6" Grizzly Jointer (full load rating 15Amp, calls for 20amp circuit)
I would like to plug a Laguna 14Bx Bandsaw (110V) into the CT as well for dust collection. This unit calls for 15 amps. Here are the specshttps://system.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=732630&c=860860&h=6df3e70c3e02098ab5da&_xt=.pdf
Thanks for the help and electrical guidance
