Using RO150 + Platin to Polish Limestone Tile Edge?

Hmmm... I wonder how these would work on my concrete countertops.  Wet polishing is SUPER messy... might have to try this out myself. :)

Check out Tandy Leather Co. ,they have leather punches, various sizes .....I think Radio Shack is a partner. You can make your holes with them, there steel punches ..I also see the on E`bay sold in leather tools

So I tried the RO 150 FEQ on my concrete countertops.  For serious grinding it was sadly inadequate.  I am not surprised, nor disappointed, as it seems that this was completely out of the scope of what this tool was intended to be used for.  For anything past the roughest Saphir pads, however, it worked quite well.  I used Saphir 50 grit up to Platin 4000 grit and got excellent results - better than I was getting with the wet polisher with the diamond pads.

I even tried the diamond pads out with it, but there just wasn't enough oomph to really grind away at the concrete.  For softer stones, or maybe VERY green concrete perhaps, I can see this working quite well.
