What’s happened to the socket, and module housing?
Was it working in this condition before?

The socket hatch was "broken" so I already ordered a new one and took it out already. The module housing was and is empty. I have no module installed. In my opinion there is no need for that socket when I switch on the manual function...

The problems occured before I took the socket out, so that shouldnt be the problem.

There should be something wrong that makes the machine stop.

I even don't have a filter now in the machine... Not even the housing. I hope that shouldn be the problem? Even no bag (and I cleaned the machine completely, inside and outside...)

Isn't there a way to (like with a car) read out error codes? It looks like it stops because "the waterlevel is reached" or something else. Because the machine sounds perfectly but it looks like there is a system in it that makes it stop... You can just start it over and over again...

Don’t ever run the machine without a filter, this can cause motor damage as stated in the user manual.
I personally would get that machine back in the form it’s designed to be in.
For example, get the power take off socket replaced properly, get a cover plate back on the bluetooth module housing. Put a filter and bag in the machine, and then revert to fault finding.

Well the good news is it works.  It appears as though some sensor may be telling the unit to shut down, which might be an inexpensive repair.  I would start by digging through the manual to see what conditions will cause the unit to shut down (overheating, bag full, clogged filter??), then try to track down the sensors that detect such a condition and feed a signal back to the "brain".  Look for damaged wiring while you're chasing down those sensors.

I'm pretty sure you need a new electronics module. Motor doesn't seem to be the problem and I sincerely doubt it's the water or heat sensor that's at fault, that hardly happens. But the electronics module can break sometimes. Could be as simple as a burned out capacitor, but Festools policy is to simply replace the entire module.

Read error codes? Don't think so, the vac is too simple to have a processor on board.

Got the same issue with my CTL 26 at the moment. On mine it seems to be the switch (auto-mode operating normal); once I turn the switch a fraction of a turn back from MAN towards OFF it runs normal.

I fixed it myself, and as stated, I was right. Will tell up later what I found and how I fixed it...

@ Jiggy Joiner: If you have a clean enviroment you can just let it run without a filter... Its just like a turbocharger... ;-) But the turbocharger is much more harmfull

If you have a clean environment, you don’t really need an extractor.
I recently paid around £1,600 for a pair of CTM26 E AC’s I’ll stick with the filter thanks  [wink]

I Looked for the manual but there were not much conditions mentioned... except for the full reservoir with using water...

You were wrong in this case. I think its even strange to say that the watersensor acted as a fault... When the level is to the max it switches off right?

I will tell what I did... First I took of the main unit (vacuum cleaner itself) and putted it like on 90 degrees horizontally turned on the "reservoir", so like that it doesn't belong to be on it but that it wasnt connected to the "watersensor" in front of the reservoir...
Now I turned it on and, it kept on going! This way I knew it HAD to do something with the waterlevelsensor in front of the reservoir.

I took it apart, and cleaned it (there was a lot of moisture behind it and it even was wet... so the sensor was continuesly activated as full...! After a decent cleaning it worked like before again. I even bend the connectors straight (because one was bend) so maybe even this was the problem. I don't know... But one of these two problems was the issue...

Now I am waiting for the new dustbag and the powersocket to make it complete again. Today I already received the machine-filter so after those two articles are in my hands the VC is working well again!
