Just got my Vecturo today using to demolish a half wall and pantry.  I found out painfully the fast fix lever snaps back pretty forcefully and I wasn't expecting it.  My thumb was in wrong place at wrong time.
Any of you have the same experience?  BTW had to buy a Fein multimaster blade adapter.  Not many supercut or festool blades at my dealer for my use (rigid scraper ie for linoleum adhesive removal).

Yep, been there, done that. Had a nice black lump on my thumb after that experience  [scared]

Keep your worn blades.  I use them as scrapers and grind to different widths.  I also grind them into profiles and use them as hand. scrapers.

I have not had that happen yet. I will be more aware in the future.

I bought the Fein adapter also and for the same reason.

Just got my Vecturo yesterday.  I went to give it a try and noted the fast fix just like my old Fein Multi and
recalled getting smacked in the knuckles.  This makes me feel less stupid.

Well my thumbnail is totally painful and black :-(  the design wants to put your thumb right under that latch.

I thought as a hobbyist I would have limited use for this tool.  But it turned out to speed up my demolition.  I used it quite a bit.

I had planned to get the supercut but the Festool with the accessories was a better value.  I did find that the multimaster universal blades don't last very long shearing off nails.  They dull rather quickly.

I noted that it took more pressure than my Fein to lock the bit in. I did have my thumb clear.

Glad I'm not the only one……I did it showing a customer. Thumb was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
